YouTube just keeps innovating and leaving the competition behind when it comes to Creator platforms. With Auto Dubbing Creators are going to truly become global brands reaching audiences across the world with Multi-language Audio Dubbed nearly perfectly to capture tonality and emotional context. The Hype Leader Board for Creators between 500-500,000 Subscribers will give a spotlight to new Creators and give fans the power to vote for their favorites. YouTube's Generative and Assistive AI features are going to remove the friction and barriers for new content creators or anyone who feels stuck in their process when it comes to making videos. And with Communities fans will finally be able to interact not only with Creators but with each other without having to leave the platform and go to Reddit or Discord to have that same kind of experience. YouTube in 2025 will be a DESTINATION PLATFORM much like Facebook and Twitter, that will be the place you start your day on the internet and will ultimately offer everything it can to keep you there. And the channels what will win on YouTube in 2025 will have to become DESTINATION CHANNELS that can keep the audience on YouTube longer and get them to start their YouTube viewing experience with their content or their community, and keep them coming back for more. That means you'll have to bring BIG CREATOR ENERGY. WHAT IS BIG CREATOR ENERGY?One of the smartest things you can every do if you're a Small YouTuber is bring "BIG CREATOR ENERGY". This a a phrase I've started pushing in my live streams recently. It means making sure you show up looking like a bigger creator from day one. Sometimes identifying as a small creator, makes you cut corners on quality, or not try as hard as you could, because "nobody is watching". But what if you looked like a 100,000 Subscriber YouTuber from Day 1? What if you made every aspect of your brand as a creator look so good that people say "how are you not already at a 1 Million Subscribers"? or even "you only have 2000 subscribers and your content looks better than creators with 200,000 subscribers!" This is how you project BIG CREATOR ENERGY:
If you want to be a BIG CREATOR, bring BIG CREATOR ENERGY, don't strive for perfection and procrastination, but aggressively execute on the things that do matter. Hint: over-editing and style doesn't matter, focus on simple editing but effective packaging, great ideas, and performing on camera better and showcasing your personality in an engaging way. And at least aesthetically look the part, dress for the success you want, instead of the success you have. β My INSIDERS Take on Longer YouTube Shorts..HOW LONGER SHORTS IS GOING TO BE A GAME CHANGER FOR YOUTUBERSWhat is YouTube Short-form Strategy Going to Look Like in 2025? As of October 15, 2024 Creator can now upload vertical videos to YouTube up to 3 minutes long and they will count as YouTube Shorts. Your older vertical videos will not be treated as YouTube Shorts. YouTube is having a bit of a struggle session with the rollout for this so expect it to be fully ready by the end of November 2024... With YouTube Shorts being up to 3 minutes now, a lot of people are assuming they will have to make 3 Minute Shorts and there are a lot of questions about whether that is worth it. I actually think many Creators are missing the point. You don't need to worry about making 3 minute long YouTube Shorts, it just means you can make a 1 minutes and 20 second short without an anxiety attack or cutting a video short and losing the context or ending. What having the option and the keyword her is "option" of making longer Shorts videos does, is it allows for more control and creativity. It doesn't mean YouTube will punish or fail to promote content that is Shorter in length. TikTok for example punished Short-form creators by not monetizing videos under one minute long. YouTube is taking the opposite approach where you can monetize all your short-form inventory and now you also don't have to re-edit or cut down your content to share it easily across multiple platforms. And you'll be paid whether its 15 seconds or 1 minutes and 15 seconds of content. I believe that this is going to improve the quality of YouTube Shorts overall going forward and encourage more Short-form Creators to be platform agnostic, since Instagram also has a 3-minute cap on Reels.
